The toilet paper, kitchen paper, wrapping paper, adhesive paper, decorative bows … In many objects, you can find cardboard tubes of different sizes with which to make many new objects instead of discarding them. In this article, I bring you 3 ideas so that you can recycle them and turn them into a pen into gift packages or into an organizing shelf.
To make these ideas you will need cardboard tubes of different sizes and thicknesses, everything will depend on the way you want to give the created objects. In addition to these cardboard tubes, you are going to need these other materials:
The gift package is the simplest idea, so let’s start with it. You should line the toilet paper tube with a paper of a color that you like. Close the ends, one in one direction and the other in the other direction. Fix them with decorative adhesive tape or also known as washi tape. And you will have ready your package for small gifts totally personalized and to your liking.
A pen is an object that always suits us. Some of us have the great ability to accumulate pens and pencils, even when they have run out of ink. With the cardboard tubes, it will be really economical. Glue three cardboard tubes of different sizes together with hot silicone. Once you have them together you must paste them to a CD that you no longer use. You can paint all of this with spray paints, creating several colored spaces separating them with adhesive tape or bodybuilder’s tape.
This shelf is perfect on a desk. If you have little space in it, you can create several heights and organize more objects in less space. Just paint the cardboard tubes that you are going to use, minimum must be two for the legs of the shelf. Glue these two tubes on the bottom of the wooden board, and two more on the top, which will act as organizers. In this work, you can use both white glue and hot silicone.
